Financing Intra-African Trade

In this module you will learn about the trade finance solutions that are available for businesses and particularly small and mediumsized enterprises SMEs involved in intra-African trade. You will also gain an understanding of which solutions are most appropriate for you and how to successfully apply for them.

On completion of this module, you will be able to:

• Assess your trade finance needs and what you need to do to qualify for financial support
• Identify shortterm trade financing solutions that are available from banks and finance institutions in Africa
• Mitigate payment and currency risk
