Afreximbank Forum For Portfolio Managers - Shifting Tides: Looking Beyond the Current Global Financial Architecture

The Afreximbank Forum for Portfolio Managers is an annual event that will convene Central Bankers and institutional investors from across Global Africa. Held annually in November, as a three-day in-person gathering, the forum is designed to explore the most pressing developments in the global economy and their impact on portfolio management in Africa. As the continent grapples with rising inflation, technological disruption and geopolitical tensions, the seminar will provide Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, and Insurance Companies with a unique platform to share insights, build capacity and strengthen policy responses.

The inaugural edition will address features in the global financial system and their implications for Global African institutions. Specifically, in areas such as risk management, Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital currencies and local currency financing.
